KTSL partner Hitachi ID Systems earned an "impressive" review by analysts Ovum for its Identity & Access Management capabilities.
The findings, published in a recent report, rank Hitachi ID highly among much larger competitors. In particular, Ovum cited Hitachi ID's robust technology and first-class customer support as reasons that organisations should consider solutions from Hitachi ID.
In the report, "Decision Matrix: Selecting an Identity & Access Management Vendor," Ovum identified key capabilities of identity management vendors and products, to help organisations select the most appropriate solutions. Decision factors included technology, reputation, market presence and customer service.

KTSL partner, xMatters and relevance engines were featured in an article on CIO Update earlier in the week.
The article, titled, “Finding the Relevance in Relevance Engines,” focuses primarily on relevance engines and brings in a competitor as well as analyst validation.
The article includes several xMatters customer examples of how relevance engine technology is being used to good effect by Sprint Nextel, Denver International Airport, Thomson Reuters, and “a large grocery chain.”

KTSL partner xMatters' (previously AlarmPoint) relevance engine technology will enable Thomson Reuters to send relevant messages to individuals working in financial markets.
"A relevance engine is almost the inverse of a search engine,” explained Troy McAlpin, CEO at xMatters. “When information is available for something that you’ve asked for, something that matters to you, it finds you in a way that you expect or need it.”
The engine will be used in Thomson Reuters messaging and web services. It will send relevant and timely messages to the appropriate members of the company’s 25,000 user base.
