KTSL are hosting an executive breakfast briefing about proactive event management on Thursday 12th November at the Royal Institute of British Architects HQ in London, from 9 until 11am.
This informal and interactive breakfast will dive deep into understanding how a real-time analytics solution can detect performance abnormalities in the IT environment, deliver early warning of degrading performance and reduce the time from detection to resolution.
The main speaker is Atul Garg, who is the head of BMC Software's Service Assurance Business Unit. He was previously co-founder & Chief Technology Officer of ProactiveNet, Inc., which was acquired by BMC Software in June 2007. ProactiveNet is now a strategic part of BMC’s Business Service Management solutions.
Atul has over 25 years of technical and senior management experience in networking and network management with prior experience at Hewlett-Packard, Bay Networks/Nortel, and TCSI. At Hewlett-Packard, Atul was one of the principal architects of HP OpenView. He holds six patents on intelligent algorithms for network and systems management.
By attending this event, you will learn how to:
- Predict problems before they arise
- Measure service level compliance
- Prioritise errors based on business need
- Automate the gap between problem detection and resolution processes
- Reduce event "noise"
Please call Tracey Blunsdon on 0845 034 8000 if you would like to attend. Spaces are limited, so please reply as soon as possible to reserve your place.
I hope that you will be able to join us.
