Upgrade to BMC Control-M

Many CA-AutoSys customers are struggling to upgrade their existing AutoSys implementation to R11.x due to the complexity of the new architecture and the expense of bringing people in to perform the upgrade.

KTSL to Host "BSM International" ITIL Workshop

KTSL is hosting a "BSM International" ITIL Workshop at BMC Software, Egham on Thursday 9th June 2011. 

BSM International is a fast-paced workshop that illustrates the connection between “the business” and “IT” in a real life situation.  You will be part of a team running an airport and be responsible for ensuring that aircraft can take off and land safely.

The workshop introduces ITIL-based practices and demonstrates the interdependency between the functional areas that are required to keep the airport operational, thus showing the connections between IT and the needs of the business.

Finding the Relevance in Relevance Engines

KTSL partner, xMatters and relevance engines were featured in an article on CIO Update earlier in the week.

The article, titled, “Finding the Relevance in Relevance Engines,” focuses primarily on relevance engines and brings in a competitor as well as analyst validation.

The article includes several xMatters customer examples of how relevance engine technology is being used to good effect by Sprint Nextel, Denver International Airport, Thomson Reuters, and “a large grocery chain.”
